Apart from hundreds of things to do in Phu Quoc in the early morning, there is a huge collection of night activities in Phu Quoc. These are some inspiration for a crazy fun night out in this little island.
Take a gorgeous sunset
Phu Quoc is known for its spectacular ocean sunset. It’s phenomenal to watch the sun gradually disappearing into the horizontal line on the ocean, shining the last orange light beams of the day. Or you can watch the sun coming down on the top of a coconut tree like a huge egg yolk dangling in the sky.
Join Squid fishing Tour
When the night falls, squids go hunting for food. It’s perfect time to go squid fishing. People are normally used to catch fish some squids, so tourists find it exciting to go catch squids on their own.
To catch squieds, you really need some techniques and special hooks. You will get some training and tips from a skillful fisherman or guide when you hire a fishing boat and tools for fishing. It all starts with a big round boat which can only paddled by an experienced fisherman. Now, this activity is not only fun with fishing squids but you also have fun with handling the boat steering. It is a lot of excitements for tourists to try paddling the round boat when they just cannot make the boat move forwards the direction they want. The boat will just be spinning around at one place and you will soon get exhausted or wet.
When you reach the perfect spot for squids, the coach will help you hook the baits and how to recognize a squid pull. We definitely needs the lights dangling over the boat to lure the squids to gather, therefore you don’t have to toss the bait as you normally do with fish. You will easily feel a squid pull each time your stray gets the bait. You have to gently lift it up out of the water.
It is an absolutely fun for those who try this treat for the first time. Then you can keep your boots and bring it to your hotel or restaurant and have them cooked for you.
